I built ForeignLLCTax.com because foreign founders of U.S. LLCs deserve practical, transparent tools for U.S. compliance — not guesswork, not anonymous advice, and not forms cobbled together from scratch. When you file Form 5472, a pro forma 1120, or any IRS return, the stakes are real: a single missed form can mean a $25,000 penalty. I put my name on this product because I believe the people behind a high-stakes tax tool should be accountable and easy to find.
Background
I'm a polymath by temperament: my work spans tax, risk and control, international trust finance, and software engineering. A few specifics, stated plainly:
- Nearly 20 years of software engineering and development experience.
- Built and managed financial software for an international trust, working in an environment with roughly $410M in assets under management.
- Earlier career in international trust and financial-systems work.
- 5+ years of online education experience, with multiple YouTube channels reaching a combined 100,000+ subscribers.
- Multilingual teaching and content in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Spanish.
Credentials
These are my own professional credentials. They are not tax licenses, and none of them is an IRS endorsement, certification, or sponsorship of this product:
- IRS-registered tax professional (registered to participate in IRS tax-professional systems — this is registration/participation, not an IRS endorsement or certification)
- FRM — Financial Risk Manager (self-described professional credential)
- CIA — Certified Internal Auditor (self-described professional credential)
- CCSA — Certification in Control Self-Assessment (self-described professional credential)
- CATTI certified translator/interpreter, Shanghai Advanced Interpreter Certificate, JLPT N1
To be precise about the IRS reference: “IRS-registered tax professional” means I am registered to participate in IRS tax-professional systems. That is registration and participation — none of it is an IRS endorsement, certification, license, or sponsorship, and it does not make this product an IRS product. FRM, CIA, and CCSA are risk, audit, and control certifications — not CPA, attorney, or Enrolled Agent designations.
What this means for you
- Clear, sourced answers. Our editorial standard is to tie important tax claims and filing guidance back to an official IRS instruction, the Internal Revenue Code, a Treasury regulation, or a tax treaty whenever possible — and to link the source so you can verify it yourself.
- You review before you pay.Our paid outputs are generated only after you've answered the questions and reviewed your inputs. Nothing is hidden until checkout.
- Official PDFs only. Every IRS form we produce is filled from the real, official IRS PDF through a verified field map. We never fabricate an IRS-branded form from scratch.
- No fake certification. We don't claim licenses, endorsements, or credentials we don't have, and we tell you plainly where the software stops and a licensed adviser should begin.
Published work
I write as well as build. My first book is published and publicly available on Amazon Kindle:
