What KYC/AML compliance do I need for my foreign-owned LLC's crypto exchange accounts?
I'm trying to open a Coinbase business account for my foreign-owned Wyoming LLC. They're asking for a ton of documentation — my passport, proof of address overseas, LLC formation documents, EIN letter, beneficial ownership information.
Is this standard? Can I even use U.S. crypto exchanges as a foreign owner? I've heard some exchanges won't serve foreign-owned LLCs. What are my options, and what documents should I have ready?
