How do I fill out Form 8949 for cryptocurrency trades in my foreign-owned LLC?
My foreign-owned LLC made about 150 crypto trades last year on Coinbase Pro. I understand I need to report these on Form 8949, but the logistics are confusing. Do I list every single trade individually? What about crypto-to-crypto trades (e.g., ETH to BTC)?
Coinbase gives me a CSV export but the format doesn't match Form 8949 columns exactly. Also, some trades were short-term and some long-term. Do I need separate forms for each?
And the big question: since I'm a foreign owner and these might not even be ECI, do I still need to file Form 8949?
