I want to set up a passive holding LLC to hold equity in two of my operating businesses. I want the cheapest recurring cost while keeping privacy. New Mexico looks like the obvious pick at $50 to form and $20 every three years — but my CPA says it's not as clean as it looks. Is Wyoming actually a safer pick for a holdco?
