A vendor portal wants a formal bank letter, not screenshots. Is Mercury's bank letter the right fix?
I live in Hong Kong and use Mercury for my U.S. LLC. A large vendor portal rejected the screenshots I uploaded and specifically asked for a formal bank letter or official account document. I can see that Mercury offers a bank-letter feature, but I have not used it before and I do not know whether that is the kind of document these portals usually want.
I am trying to understand whether I should treat this as a one-off annoyance or as a sign that I need a better bank-proof folder for the business overall. More and more counterparties seem to want formal account verification before they release payments.
