I run a one-person foreign-owned LLC — do I really need a transfer pricing study, or is that only for big multinationals?

My US single-member LLC is owned by me, a non-resident, and it does maybe $120K a year. The only related-party items are some money my home-country company invoices the LLC for and an owner advance I put in to cover startup costs. An advisor said the word 'transfer pricing study' and quoted a number that is bigger than my whole tax bill. Is a full study really required at my size, or am I being upsold? What is actually mandatory versus nice-to-have?

I paid an LLC expense from my personal foreign account, then the LLC reimbursed me — what records does section 6038A want?
