Our transfer pricing issue repeats every year. Is an APA actually worth a six-figure fee, or is that only for giant multinationals?

We have the same related-party service and royalty issues every year, and each year the tax file feels like it is being rebuilt from scratch. Someone proposed an APA, but the user fees alone are high enough that management immediately dismissed it as something only massive public companies use. I am not convinced that is the right frame.

What I want is a strategic answer. If an APA's real value is future certainty and reduced dispute risk on a recurring transfer pricing issue, then the fee should be weighed against that benefit rather than against a generic stereotype about company size.
