I live abroad and got a CP2000. What is the actual response window and what should go into the first packet?

I am based in Hong Kong and received a CP2000 tied to my 2024 U.S. return. The notice is already stressful enough, but the harder part is knowing how much time I really have from outside the United States. Some people say the normal 30-day deadline always applies. Others say taxpayers abroad get extra time.

I do not want to miss the response date while arguing about procedure. I need the real IRS timing rule and a practical sense of what the first response packet should contain if I disagree with the proposed changes.
