I keep seeing the term 'marketplace facilitator' but I don't fully understand what it means for me as a foreign LLC owner selling on multiple platforms. I sell on Amazon, my own Shopify site, and sometimes wholesale through direct invoicing.

Does the marketplace facilitator thing mean I never have to worry about sales tax? Or just on certain platforms? And what about the states that don't have these laws?

I'm from Brazil and my LLC is in New Mexico. I really need someone to explain this in plain language.
