My Montana LLC is tiny. Is the annual report still a big deal for a foreign owner?

I am in Israel and formed a Montana LLC for a small import coordination business. The company made only $14,000 last year and does not yet have a warehouse or employees in the U.S. A registered agent handles state notices, and part of me wants to treat the Montana annual report as something I can catch up on whenever I have time.

Before I make that mistake, I want to know whether Montana is one of those states where good standing can quietly become a real problem for banking and contracts.
