How do I register for sales tax in multiple states as a foreign-owned e-commerce LLC?
I've figured out that I need to register for sales tax in about 8 states where I have either physical or economic nexus. My LLC is foreign-owned (I'm from South Korea) and registered in Texas.
The problem is every state has a different registration process and some of them seem to require a Social Security Number which I don't have. I have an EIN for my LLC and an ITIN for myself.
Can I register for sales tax with just an EIN? Do I need to register in my home state of Texas first? Is there a way to register in multiple states at once?
